Sales and Service Manager of the San Francisco 49ers will be interviewing and selecting candidates for Ticket Sales position (s). With the San Francisco 49ers, we are trying to help cultivate an ever-growing community of football fans. To do this, we need a committed group of “hunters” to help support this initiative.

Account Executive, Ticket Sales – “the Hunter”
Basic Function: The Account Executive, Ticket Sales position is responsible for the sale of Season Tickets, Multi-game Packages and Group Tickets to companies and individuals via phone and email prospecting. Personal appointments are common, too; however, a vast majority of the work is done by phone and email. Must be able to generate season ticket sales through the use of aggressive, daily cold-calls to potential ticket buying clientele.
Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Prospect potential Season Ticket, Multi-game Packages and Group Ticket clients through aggressive, daily cold-calling and email messaging
• Complete a minimum of 70 outbound dials per day to prospects for Season Ticket, Multi-game Packages and Group Tickets
• Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service
• Generate new sales leads with assistance of supervisors
• Handle incoming calls for new ticket sales; up-sell toward season ticket purchases and group outings
• Handle stadium tours at Candlestick Park when necessary to support new season ticket sales
• Follow-up to all phone and email inquiries involving new ticket sales
• Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities
• Personally staff ticket sales and service tables/booths during game day, training camp, and select outside events
• Meet all predetermined activity and season ticket sales goals
• Work in tandem with ticket services department to establish a seamless transition from customer sales to account service
• When necessary, support ticket operations with service toward renewals, seat relocations and upgrades, and invoicing
• Take a proactive approach when handling service toward a potential, or existing, season ticket holder account
• Collaborate effectively within the sales, marketing, and operations departments to achieve common goals
• Assist with other ticket sales duties, as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
• One to five years of sales experience
• Proven track record with cold-calling and selling by phone and email
• Familiarity with the team’s account and prospect database, Archtics, is a plus
• Passion for selling by phone
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and desire to build career in professional sports
• Bilingual a plus
