Financial Systems Analyst - San Francisco 49ers (Santa Clara, CA)

The San Francisco 49ers are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Financial Systems Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A function is an integral component of the Finance department. This role reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A and is based in Santa Clara, CA.

The primary responsibilities for this position are to serve as system administrator for our cloud-based financial planning and reporting solution, and to support the Finance organization’s use of this tool. This position will assist in the design and development of the financial planning and reporting infrastructure to ensure the needs of the user base are met.

• Work closely with the FP&A and reporting teams to best leverage the capabilities of our financial planning and reporting solution
• Collaborate with the FP&A team in development of solutions and enhancements to the system
• Support budget/forecast cycles and month end processes
• Ensure that complete, accurate, and timely financial information is transferred to our planning and reporting solution from our general ledger and HR systems
• Act as first point of contact for system administrative support. Responsibilities will include environment management, performance optimization, upgrade testing, and user access
• Establish and maintain documentation on systems, processes and procedures to ensure consistency and continuity. Prepare training materials to roll out to user base
• Provide regular updates on issues arising from user experiences
• Work on special projects for FP&A and reporting teams

Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, MIS or equivalent required
• 2-5 years of experience supporting financial applications. A mix of accounting and/or finance is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience in design and implementation of cloud-based financial tools
• Collaborative style and track record of building positive working relationships at all levels of an organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented, well organized, with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities and keep stakeholders informed on progress
• Ability to work in a high-energy environment and deliver within tight deadlines
